ULTRA Starter Solenoids

ULTRA Starter Solenoids deliver performance superior to the original equipment components in most domestic vehicles. Pure copper windings - and more of them than standard solenoids found on most vehicles - create a stronger magnetic field in even the hottest environments. Heavy duty copper contacts reduce the effect of arcing and extend solenoid life. GM work-type solenoids feature 450 degree rated end cap material with a steel gasket to deliver superior performance in the hottest operating conditions. Stainless steel plunger sleeves deliver smoother action, greater heat tolerance for longer life than standard grade nylon sleeves. ULTRA Starter Solenoids are designed to seal out dirt, moisture and other contaminants. Copper wire withstands temperatures to 180 degrees without damage. Pure copper battery terminal studs reduce resistance and permit higher current flow. |
