long life and precise performance.ULTRA Contact Sets feature high-quality, premium materials that far exceed original equipment in performance: Heavy duty molded pivot post bushings, steel arms and precision ground phenolic rubbing blocks for longer life. Phosphor-bronze conductor straps and burnished tungsten contacts for superior conductivity. ULTRA Condensers feature leak resistant buna rubber end seals that hermetically seal the windings. This material is far superior to the plastic or composition seals used by low cost manufacturers to protect condenser windings. High strength mylar insulation separates the windings more effectively than the paper found in standard grade condensers and provides an extra margin of safety against damaging short circuits. Premium quality neoprene jacketed lead wires resist damage from oil, water or ozone contamination and are easier to install, particularly in cold weather. |
