What is it? LS 779 electrical connector for the throttle position sensor (TPS). What does it fit? Any GM application that takes a FE-1032, FE-1001, or FE-1004. Why does it fail? High underhood ambient temperatures can cause the seal to crack, allowing heat and moisture to enter the connector. How do I sell more of these? Just take a part out and show it to your best customers. Most installers think this is a dealer item only.
