What is it? LS 702 electrical connector that works on Delco alternators. What does it fit? 1964-1974 GM and IHC applications that use DR153A, DR154A, DR153B or DR153F voltage regulators. What's the difference between a LS 702 and a LS 706? LS 702 attaches to the alternator. LS 706 attaches to the voltage regulator. Why does it fail? High underhood ambient temperatures can cause premature failure. Also simply wears out from years in service.
