Counter Pro Course -
C3- Computer Command Control

Who this course is written for

Our target is the lead counterman for an auto parts jobbing store. Typically, the lead counterman gets his title and status from two main factors:

1.) knowledge - he knows more about cars than other countermen
2.) performance - he sells more parts than other countermen.

The lead counterman gets his title because he leads the other members of the counter sales team in serving the jobber's customer base. This includes professional mechanics and shops as well as do-it-yourself (DIY) customers.

Knowledge you must have to take this course successfully

1.) You must know the basics of car operation.
2.) You should know the basics of how mechanics use tools in performing their work and, preferably, have some hands-on experience with cars and/or other mechanical devices.
3.) We assume you have some basic knowledge of automotive systems, and that you are generally familiar with using catalogs in your store for locating the various parts your customers order.

The lead counterman is not expected to be a know-it-all; however, he should be a know-it-some, which puts him a step ahead of his customers and other counter personnel. He often has a desire to increase his knowledge base, and to become an even better salesman and advisor to his customers and business associates. If this describes you, then read on! This course is designed for you.
